Second catalogue for the exhibition project DESIGN × SCIENCE. The publication presents doctoral design research projects featured in the 2024 DESIGN × SCIENCE showcase series presented at the BASE Milano during Milan Design Week, Zlín Design Week and DAAD in Bratislava.
The publication contains short interpretations of 7 doctoral design research projects realized at the Faculty of Architecture and Design in Bratislava, devoted to a wide range of research topics: artificial intelligence (Vladimír Boroň), perception of time (Petra Hurai), design-driven innovations in biomaterials ( Vlasta Kubušová), mixed reality workflows (Filip Maukš), contemporary craft production (Martin Mjartan), textile waste (Martin Sombathy) and research in the field of CMF design (Lucia Suchá).
