Finding common ground for interdisciplinary research

Catalogue for the exhibition project DESIGN × SCIENCE. With support of local paper distributor Europapier we have used two types of sustainable design papers. Black papier Koehler Eco® is made of made from 100% recycling fibers and CRUSH is the ecological range of upcycling papers made using process residues form organic products.

The publication contains short interpretations of 6 doctoral design research projects realized at the Faculty of Architecture and Design in Bratislava realized in the time period 2014-2023 and devoted to a wide range of research topics: biophilia (Tibor Antony), generative design (Matej Dubiš), perception of time (Petra Hurai), design-driven innovations in biomaterials ( Vlasta Kubušová), contemporary craft production (Martin Mjartan) and research in the field of surface coloring of bioplastics (Soňa Otiepková).
